SPORTS ACTIVITIES:

The institute has reserved 17 acres of land for the sports and playground to encourage the students to take part in various games and sports. Our institute is a member of Inter Engineering Diploma Students Sports Association. Students represent our institute in various sports such as kabaddi, kho-kho, volley ball, table tennis, carrom, chess, badminton, cricket, athletics and wrestling competitions arranged by IEDSSA. Inter-zonal winners are given 05 marks extra in the exam conducted by M.S.B.T.E. which is beneficial for students to secure maximum marks.

ANNUAL SOCIAL GATHERING "SRUJAN"

Three day annual social gathering "SRUJAN" is arranged with enthusiasm every year for the students to show there hidden talents. It includes cultural nights, rangoli competitions, projects, paintings competitions, arts collections, blood donation, fishponds, Antakshri, brain trust, Tambala, funfair etc. As a part of gathering two cultural nights are arranged which include various entertainment programs such as songs, group songs, dance, group dance, drama, mimicry, fashion show.

Technical and career Education ( Assemblage / Meet) held in J. T. Mahajan Polytechnic Nhavi Poly. Yawal 19th Jan 2009:

In order to provide Technical and career Education . guidance to the students from 8th to 12th classes M.S.B.T.E. Mumbai organised a Career Fair in J.T. Mahajan Poly. Faizpur on 19th Jan 2009. Mr. Arunbhai Gujarathi President of the Programme, Dr. Ulhas Patil Sau. Bharati Barhate (Director of SEED Infotech Ltd Pune), Tushar Chinavalkar (Asst. Engineer Jalgaon), A. H. Chaudhari (M.S.BT.E. Asst. Secretatary, Aurangabad section), Shri. Digambar Vithu Narkhede (President T.M.E.E.S. Faizpur) Shri. Sharad Mahajan (Vice-President, T.M.E.S., Faizpur) Shri. P. S. Chaudhari (Secretary T.M.E.S. Faizpur) and the Board of Directors, Principal Shri. P.B.Patil, Principal Shri. K. K. Dhande, and Principal Shri. R. D. Patil inaugurated - the Programme.

Shri. A. H. Chaudhari. in his preface speech gave the information that the main purpose is to introduce various courses to students under one umbrella of one place and the students should come forward to take benefit of it. Dr. Ulhas Patil expressed his gratitude towards, 'Late Dadasaheb J. T. Mahajan as he strived hard to impart technical education to the students of the lower strata. He also conveyed his greeting as the T. M. E.s society has gracefully completed 25 years.
Mr. Tushar Chinwalkar gave very precious information about the importance of Civil Engineering. He stressed the point that 'water is Life and formers should pay attention to words' water irrigation.

The students acquainted with the various branches of Civil Engineering and he confessed that it is a thing of Pride that nowadays girls are no longer behind in civil Engg. Education. Sau. Bharti Barhate told students that they must be precise about their future career Students also got information about various pathways in Computer Engg. field. Shri. P.H. Patil gave an analytical data of the private and Govt. sector job apportunities. The Govt. always gives a helping hand for the group and foundation of new project

Shri. Arunbhai Gujaathi - in his speech appealed the parents, to give freedom to their Children for choosing their future career, and that hard work, meditation, determination and goal striving for the achievement of goal are essential qualities for students.
Principal Shri. P. B. Patil expressed the vote of thanks. Dr. Ulhas Patil inaugurated the career fair stalls . There were 56 stalls installed by various institutions and organizations .

An '' aptitude test'' was conducted to understand their (student's) likings and tendencies Shri. Yajurvendra Mahajan orgnanized counselling for students. 5 to 6 thousand students from the various schools all over the District visited the Programme & took benefit of it. The teaching & non-teaching staff of J.T. Mahajan did Painstaking efforts for the success of the Programme.
