Introduction:
J. T. Mahajan Polytechnic Nhavimarg Faizpur is one of the reputed private Polytechnics run by T. M. E. Society in this region and making rapid progress from the last 27 years of its dedicated service to the society.
J. T. Mahajan Polytechnic was established in the year 1983 at Nhavi village near historic town Faizpur which is situated at the foot of Satpuda mountain with its natural surroundings. At present the Institute has grown into huge banyan tree. The institute is functioning separately in its own huge double storeyed building. The Polytechnic has full fledged facilities for academic activities. It has built up area of 10048.5 sq meter with natural beauty. The well planned campus of polytechnic provides ample space for administration, lecturer halls, seminar hall, well equipped Laboratories and workshop, library with reading hall.
With the rapid global technological developments, technical education has grown exponentially during the last few years so as to provide considerably large technical manpower to carter to the needs of various industries in different sectors.
It is a matter of pleasure to inform that from academic year 2008-2009 TME Society started second shift in existing polytechnic with annual intake of 270 students. Regular shift has annual intake capacity of 330 students, which makes total annual intake of the institute to 600.
