Admission Procedure

Admission to first year Diploma cources starts normally immediately after the results of S.S.C. Examinations (X Std) of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondry Education Pune are declared. Interested candidates should apply in prescribed application form to the Principal after the declaration of results. Admission is made strictly on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates as per the rules laid down by the Directorate of technical Education M.S. Mumbai from time to time. Students passing qualifying examination from outside Maharashtra state can normally be offered admissions against vacant seats within total intake capacity to the fulfilment of other specified conditions.

Affiliation / Teaching and Examination Scheme

The Institute is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) Kherwadi Bandra (East) Mumbai. The Teaching and Examination scheme adopted in the institute is as approved by MSBTE and is as per the norms and standards set by MSBTE.

Accreditation by NBA

The Institute has applied to National Board of Accreditation New Delhi for accreditation of following courses offered at the institute.

1. Civil Engineering
2. Computer Technology
3. Electrical Engineering
4. Electronics & Comm. Engineering
5. Mechanical Engineering

Qualifying Examination and Eligibility

1. First Year:
The candidate must have passed secondary school certificate examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Pune or any other equivalent examination with

• General science or Physics and Chemistry
• Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry and
• English with at least 50% marks (375 out of 750) in aggregate if he is not a backward class candidate and in case of backward class candidate of Maharashtra state at least 45 percent marks (388 out of 750) in aggregate.

2. Second Year

• The candidate must have passed higher secondary certificate examination (Technical/ vocational) of Maharashtra State Board of Secondry & Higher Secondary Education Pune or any other equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate if he is not a backward class student and at least 45% marks if he is a backward class student of Maharashtra State in the XII (Technical/ vocational) Examination.
• Student passing first year of diploma in Engg/Tech.
• M.S. Students passing two year certificate courses ( ITI, ITC or H.S.C. (XII) M.C.V.C. in related subjects with minimum aggregate 60% marks.
